I would like to personally invite you to join us at First Baptist Church of Elkins. We are a group of believers passionately following Jesus as savior and Lord. We strive to base everything we do, from the songs we sing to the prayers we pray, on God's Holy word, the Bible. We believe that the message of the Bible, that Jesus died on the cross to save sinners and was raised from the dead so that man could have a relationship with Him through faith, is the hope of all the world. Sunday Morning
Messages center around the Word of God, examining what scripture says, learning what it means, and how it applies to us today.
What to wear? Those in attendance wear anything from suits to jeans.
Ministries
Through our Connection Groups on Sunday Morning, AWANA, youth groups on Wednesday and Sunday evenings, and Adult Bible Studies on Sunday & Wednesday evenings, we have a variety of educational, fun activities to interest the entire family. We also offer a meal on Wednesday night at a nominal fee.
Service Schedule
Prayer and worship form the basis of First Baptist Church of Elkins. We offer a range of services and opportunities to participate. Our calendar includes time allotted for prayer, sermons, and personal reflection, as well as guided Bible study.
